I love this blog and it has many great antivirus review for PC users. Kaspersky and AVG are both good!

Kaspersky

1. Why do you think this Antivirus Software is the the best? I have used it since version 6.0 until now Kaspersky 2011. Virus detection rates is the best of all other than ESET Nod32

2. System Utilization? 256MB RAM is adequate to run Kaspersky. But 1GB memory RAM is highly recommended. Kaspersky 2011 has better performance now and it has reduce the system resources usage

3. How fast is the Antivirus Software? Never check how fast, but i believe fast enough.

4. Did it get updated frequently? Every few hours and daily

5. How easy was it to use? It’s simple and easy

6. Was the software effective in removing the Virus? Highly effect. In fact all viruses from external storage media will not be able to enter computer that is protected by Kaspersky because it has auto scan

7. Help and Support, were you happy with the support or help? Absolutely. Anyway kaspersky has not much problem at all

8. Anything else you would like to comment on about the Antivirus Software? Kaspersky is my only choice since then, now and forever i think.

es que siempre que dejaba la lap encendida, se me apagaban los discos duros a las 4 horas y me daba un buen de hueva bajarlo en otra m¨¢quina XD

Hey, hopefully someone can make use of this:

If you are having issues running virus scanners whilst your computer is turned on, try to start into ‘Safe Mode’.

If you’re using a version of Windows, you’ll be able to do this. (Windows XP, Windows Vista & Windows 7)

Safe Mode:
Turn computer off
Turn computer on whilst tapping F8. When prompted select ‘safe mode with networking’
When prompted, click Yes & start into Windows as normal.

Install and update latest and compatible security software…

Remove Viruses, Spyware and Adware

Windows Update

Update important software patches

Troubleshoot Internet and other software conflicts

Well the baisc question is wrong, it should be named “best anti-malware software”, my advice would be to find a good anti-malware program which also includes protection for viruses.
