There are many feature that you have to know when choosing antivirus software.
As for me, important features are:
– speed ;
– low memory using;
– effetive work;
– good support;
– virus database updating;

I think that user have to read reviews and try trial versions of software. You have to know what you choose.
As for me, i think that Norton, Kaspersky, Trend Micro are good antivirus software.

thanks for the great info… avg never dispointed me when i pays the legal license. when using the free version i notice that its has limitation but its work fine for basic user. as i am medium user, using a database and a system need a great security.

avira is best anti virus software even free one.believe or not it really is even that commercial organizations are running there pcs and privacy softwares on it’s behalf.not only that its most obvious features is that it is really light and does not slow the speed of system.

List time i use Kaspersky, but time to time i am thinking about Norton antivirus.
Did you compare these two products ? Whom of them is better, has best protection level ?

AVG is surely one of the solid security protection around. It consistently performs above the average.
There are so many criticism about Norton no matter how good Symantec has overhaul the engine in its newest version (2009 and 2010 lineup), making it one of the fastest security protection around.
On the other hand, Kaspersky has been the favorite among those who think they are tech guys no matter how good other competitors have caught them up.
CheckPoint ZoneAlarm lineup has solid firewall feature and probably one of the less expensive product out there.
ESET is the most easy on system resource. so easy that it only needs memory not more than 64 Megs although still good in securing our pcs.

I have been using Kaspersky Internet Security 8.0 Licensed 3 Users Version. And Its Just Waste Of My Money And Data. Its Just Irresisteble, and gives no security against daily viruses. I have my work of uploding data on websites as i work in a software company. I daily have to upload around 50 pages on different sites we work on. And its like even after using this anti virus we always find our sites infected due to our systems. So Kaspersky is just of no use.

The main infections are some zaggyy javascripts and iframes and some php codes added to my scripts on ftp.

Can any one suggest me how to keep secured my all ftp sites.
